A Worshiping Family
The most important thing to us at MHPC is worshiping God. We affirm the historic Christian doctrines of the Trinity, creation, humankind's fall into sin, redemption through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, and the life everlasting. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. Our Sunday Worship focuses on bringing glory to God through prayer, music, reciting the historic creeds of the Christian faith, and through clear, expositional preaching of the Bible in a manner that is engaging and relevant to today. Our worship is supported by a wonderful choir. We sing both traditional hymns as well as some newer Christian music. We would love to have you come and worship God with us. Our worship begins at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings.
A Learning Family
At Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church we are committed to learning the great truths of scripture. We have an active Sunday School program for people of all ages. Sunday School begins at 9:45. On Sunday Evenings at 6:00, our senior pastor leads a Bible study open to the entire congregation. In addition, many home groups meet for small group Bible studies throughout the week.
A Praying Family
In the midst of all of life's turmoil and trials, it is wonderful to know that people are bringing your concerns before the throne of God through prayer. At MHPC we believe deeply in prayer. On Wednesday evenings we have a dinner together followed by a congregational prayer meeting. In addition, our prayer chain insures that any prayer request can reach the entire congregation within a few hours.
A Serving Family
At MHPC we care about helping other people. Our members regularly volunteer their time to make meals for those in need at area rescue missions. We distribute food to shut-ins and do Bible studies at an area nursing home. We also care deeply about helping children come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Every month during the school year we put on a Parents Night Out where we do games and Bible lessons with neighborhood children. In the summer we put on a fun Vacation Bible School.
